The beautiful "Soon Valley" is located in Distt. Khushab (Punjab). It is 160KM from Islamabad & 110KM from Sargodha. The valley is 56KM long & 14KM wide. It is the unique valley where one can find three beautiful lakes within a very small distance. Its natural landscaping is worth seeing. Waterfalls, Orange gardens, Crops & Vegetable fields enhance its beauty. The main tribe of this area is "Awan". These people are educated, peaceful & religious. The Valley has no major effects of feudalism, as land is very limited. Most of the people are serving Armed Forces or Govt. Offices in different cities. Soon Valley is enriched with fertile land. Major cash crops are vegetables. Farmers supply these vegetables to the markets of Sargodha, Faisalabad, Lahore & Islamabad. There are also some silica sand & coal mines. Soon Valley possesses worth seeing beauty but it has its own problems. |
